4 Inch vs. 2 1/2 Inch Jetfilter System

The new 4 Inch Jetfilter is 4"x 6" inches. It construction is ASTM A-36 Hot Rolled steel and 304 Stainless Steel. It contains an ABS UV Protected filter cartridge. The filter fabric is a Mirafi FW 300 Filterweave. Also included are Tap-Flex screws from Elco. The Jetfilter System can also be welded.

The Jetfilter System is a flush mount wick drainage system which can be permanently installed on the front side of any earth retaining structures such as bridge abutments, sheet piling and retaining walls. The removable filter can be changed or cleaned as needed.

The Jet Filter is is a weep hole system. The purpose is to relieve the hydrostatic pressure from behind the wall. There is a removable filter that can be cleaned at any time.

ThruFlow has been tested in the Canaveral National Seashore for about 3 years now. ThruFlow has passed with flying colors!! This says a lot about park which gets an estimated 1 million visitors a year. ThruFlow does great here in Florida because of the UV inhibitors. Ferreira Construction in Stuart Florida added to the Stuart Boardwalk. They used Harbor Technology Composite pilings. It was my first Harbor Tech Composite piling job in Stuart Florida. Since I live in Stuart, I give a very special Thanks to Ferreira Construction. The piles were driven with impact hammer and went in very smoothly. One of guys said they were alot easier to carry than treated lumber piles

It will be an added benefit for the City of Stuart because they should last 40 plus years. No chemicals to leach in the water, no rust, no bore problem, no cracking.. In the long run it should save the city money.

RedFish Marine Construction just finished a boardwalk from Destin Beach to a Condo. It looked BEAUTIFUL. I thought this is great for Condos on the beach because ThruFlow doesn't get hot . This is especially nice since the sand can really get hot.

Another plus is with the anti slip surface. Sand would be knocked off your feet so that it would not be tracked onto other surfaces. Also the Thru Flow grated panels would help with this also.

Another feature for the condo is no maintenance. They should be enjoying their new walkway for many, many years.

Derek McGivern, General Manager of ThruFlow Corporation, had a booth at the IMBC Conference in Tampa this past week. I have been selling ThruFlow for 4 years now and have enjoyed every minuet of it. It is truly a premium decking. It does cost more than wood but last probably 3 to 4 times longer with a lot advantages. Seminole Rest part of Canaveral National Seashore

Our National Park service has just installed a new ThruFlow pier at Seminole Rest in Oak Hill , Florida.

Mark Hempe with the National Park Service has been evaluating ThruFlow for over a year. He wanted to make sure that the material held up because over a million visitors come to the National Seashore each year. So far it is passing with flying colors!!! He has not seen any signs of spider cracks, color has not faded, and the non-skid is holding up.

ThruFlow is great product for applications for a long lasting pier, where there is no maintenance, ADA compatible , very foot friendly!!!

Doug Loseke with Continential Associates installed multiple boat ramps and docks for Brevard County on US1 in Grant Florida. Doug used ThruFlow grated decking. WOW!! Did it turn out beautiful! Doug also installed the ThruFlow different by cutting circles and putting the pilings through the ThruFlow. This was first that I had seen done like this and thought it looked very nice. It was a lovely spot on the Intracoastal.

ThruFlow has UV inhibitors that makes it hold up in our Florida sun. There is 12 year 100% warranty with ThruFlow grated decking. People will really enjoy walking barefoot and sitting on these docks(no splitters, stays cool, and anti slip, etc.). Also Thru Flow will help with storm surges.

Southern Pine and Lumber at the Clearwater store built a dock using ThruFlow grated Decking and Tuffdock piles. On June 12th, they had an open house for contractors to come walk on the totally green , environmentally friendly dock system. It is a great non maintenance long lasting dock. Harborwalk Villiage is located in Destin Florida. LD & L Marine Contracting in Mary Ester Florida and Redfish Marine Construction in Santa Rosa Florida built the new docks using Harbor Technology composite piling and ThruFlow grated decking. Chester and Sue Young and their creative ThruFlow idea

Sue and Chester Young was having an outdoor party and needed some more tables. Chester is a partner with Hans Wilson and Associates which is an engineering and environmental consulting firm in Fort Myers Florida. Chester and Sue are very familiar with ThruFlow. Sue thought it would be great to use for a table. Chester added 2x4 strips to the side of the workmate to make them the same width as the spacing on the panels and screwed them all together.

Thank you Sue and Chester for sharing another way of using ThruFlow besides decks and docks. Thru Flow is so light weight but strong for may different uses.

Google has a 3-D CAD program called sketchup. Google also has a 3dwarehouse . This warehouse allows people to create new designs such as a ThruFlow dock. This is very useful for engineering firms or someone wanting to do a proposal showing a deck or dock. It is a really cool tool!!

Joe, I appreciate you letting me take some photos of the beautiful dock that you did in Stuart, Florida. The way you did the stairs was very clever.

I know the homeowner will enjoy using the maintenance free, bare foot friendly ThruFlow
