Seminole Rest part of Canaveral National Seashore
Our National Park service has just installed a new ThruFlow pier at Seminole Rest in Oak Hill , Florida.
Mark Hempe with the National Park Service has been evaluating ThruFlow for over a year. He wanted to make sure that the material held up because over a million visitors come to the National Seashore each year. So far it is passing with flying colors!!! He has not seen any signs of spider cracks, color has not faded, and the non-skid is holding up.
ThruFlow is great product for applications for a long lasting pier, where there is no maintenance, ADA compatible , very foot friendly!!!
Derek McGivern has put a lot of time and effort to understand the materials and UV protection that we need to survive the Florida sun. Go to www.ThruFlow.com and see specifications and 3rd party testing.
Skip Savage built the beautiful pier overlooking the ICW. It is very sturdy and the carpentry is supurb.
I would love to be out there when a storm comes through. I got the feeling that the way Skip built the pier that it would survive.
Oak Hill reminded me of old Florida. It was a treat . We have some great National Parks so take time and enjoy. Web site www.nps.gov.
